Not exactly what I look for, but when hunting Quota land, you do what the landowner asks. Of the four days, I shot four with the 44-40 and one with the Remington 700.

Time to get out the 44-40, got this one with the 30-06.

98 yards, scratch one pesky groundhog for February, 2025 This abandon structure has not been lived in for 35 years, but the landowner maintains the grounds and does not want them causing slides on this slope or burrowing under the structure. Over the past few years I have dispatched nearly 20 of these hole digging pests, and that slope is very soft.
